Foundation Pierre Smith Mondelus (FPSM) is a Christ-centered ministry established to empower the residents of villages in Northern Haiti by equipping them for neighborhood revitalization through sustainable personal, community, and economic development. FPSM was founded as a cooperative effort between Haitian and American leaders in 2017. The Christian five-member Haitian ministry team serves in rural Milot, enabling a grass-roots assessment of local needs. Members include co-founder Vero, one of two leaders with degrees in Business Administration, one leader trained in literacy education, and Marcot, our church pastor. Co-founder Shannon, as a missionary for 3 years, worked closely with these individuals. Programs are developed and implemented by consensus between the Haitian leaders and the American board.
